"Kidney health for everyone, everywhere!"
Kidney disease is a non-communicable disease (NCD) and currently affects around 850 million people worldwide. One in ten adults has chronic kidney disease (CKD).
This year World Kidney Day continues to raise awareness of the increasing burden of kidney diseases worldwide and to strive for kidney health for everyone, everywhere. Specifically, the 2020 campaign highlights the importance of preventive interventions to avert the onset and progression of kidney disease.
Navdeep Public School along with Save Kidney Foundation will conduct a program to raise awareness about kidney health. Dr. Praveen Namboothiri, the Chairman of Save Kidney Foundation will be the Chief Guest of the day.

The unique and inexhaustible aspect of life will be presented through this year’s theme ‘Parivarthana’ . The budding talents of Navdeep will put on a show and enthral everyone with the magical elixir of music and dance.
The Chief Guest of the day will be Rev. Dr. Sunil Sesadima, OFM Cap., Rector and Superior, Bodhi Institute of Theology, Kollam and Head of the Department of Scripture.
Dr. R. Sindhu, Scientist at Microbial Processes and Technology Division, CSIR – National Institute for Inter Disciplinary Science and Technology, Trivandrum will be the Guest of Honour.

The students of Class XI will host a farewell function for the outgoing students of Class XII on 16th January, 2020.
Mr. Cletus Austin, Chairman - Navdeep Educational Trust will deliver the presidential address.

An etiquette and fine dining session will be conducted for the students of Class XII to teach them how to carry themselves with poise and class, in corporate and other formal occasions they will undoubtedly be a part of in the future.
The resource person invited for this function is Chef Ramu Butler, who is a restaurateur, VP South Indian Chef Association and a corporate trainer. He will be joined by Ms. Asha Thomas Fenn, a corporate consultant and academic advisor.

The School will conduct an excursion to Thekkady for the students of Class X and XII. Those interested are requested to register your names with your class teachers.
This will be a two day programme with a one night stay in Thekkady.

In order to raise awareness among students regarding the harmful effects of drugs, an Anti-Drug day will be observed on 14th November, 2019 in cooperation with "Vimukthi" and awareness programme by the Kerala State Excise Department.
